What I want

I want to lose weight

Why I do it

I got tired of people making fun of me being "too fat to f***". I completed my first triathlon in August 2017. Currently I'm preparing my first 10K in September 2018, first half-marathon in May 2019 and first marathon in October 2019.

My tools:

  • Polar V800 & Polar Flow (for exercise tracking)
  • Polar Balance (for tracking weight)
  • /r/loseit (for support)

I was diagnosed with ADHD-PI (predominantly inattentive) in July 2015. Only the ADHD medication (methylphenidate) finally gave me the possibility and tools to get the weight loss going, because it lowered my impulsity and surpressed my appetite.

My three weight loss principles:

  • Low carb diet (<100 gr/day - more keto the better!)
  • Low intensity exercise (HR <130 bpm, or <70% of max)
  • Intermittent fasting (12/12)

Every once in a while you hit a "wall" where nothing seems to happen for a couple of weeks. Hang in there!

Grrr. I'm pulling my jeans up all the time (should wear a belt) and can almost fit to the next smaller size, but scales seem to think nothing's happening. Frustrating! I feel thinner, why doesn't it show in measurable way? D:

I think it's going to take me two weeks to get to the previous weight every time if I eat too much carbs :D
